Adieu Sagesse was a 1925 launch from the house of Jean Patou, composed by perfumer Henri Almeras. This Chypre Floral fragrance has a scent profile of white floral, floral, musky, aromatic, animalic, green, citrus, warm spicy, powdery, and fresh.
Adieu Sagesse was a part of a trio of fragrances representing the “three stages of love” – Amour Amour, Que Sais-Je?, and Adieu Sagesse.
The version offered here is a bottle from the 1984 re-release as a part of the Ma Collection, a limited edition release of 12 of Jean Patou’s earliest releases. These perfumes were recreated extremely faithfully to their original counterparts by Jean Patou perfumer Jean Kerleo.
